The middle school pupils were transported back in time during a visit to the Chalke Valley History Festival. The event took place in Chalke Valley on a sunny summer day, allowing our pupils to explore various workshops and activities.
Our pupils fully engaged in historical re-enactments. They participated in live shows, experienced what it was like for soldiers in trench warfare simulations, and improved their abilities in espionage sessions. The thrill persisted as they examined artillery, practised archery, and interacted with various hands-on displays.
They showed great enthusiasm and engagement while exploring the festival, serving as excellent ambassadors for our school. The day was full of interactive learning, historical exploration, and unforgettable moments.
It was a brilliant day out for all involved!
